The Foo Fighters are releasing their new album this year and to kick it off is the new single rope.
Excited for whats to come. Especially with the garage tour. What I heard was all the songs were made in their home garage. So the sound is unique. Also 3 guitars wow what a coordination of sound. The Foo's are back. Get ready to be blown away.
Heard this the other day. It's new and I think epic enough to fit our Superhero blog space. Who else is going to help save the helpless. HELP IS ON THE WAY, it has to be every superheroes best catch phrase. The song is simple and catchy, the bridge is great. ENJOY.
This just kind of popped into my head and the drum trills at the beginning was what I couldn't get out of my head. Follow that up with the electric guitar and you got a hit... well also there's a really good tune that follows up with it.
Still trying to figure out the whole music video but its inspires me to get involved and make a difference.
Either way its a great tune by a great band, just let it sink in.
He might be crazy, arrogant and just plain weird but you cant doubt the beats that he has been able to throw down. Kanye West controversial as he is, musically he's just really that good. From his new album "my beautiful dark twisted fairy tale" the track all of the lights. The snare trills, bass, trumpets and mega guest appearances gives the song an air of "epicness". Enjoy and leave your thoughts. As crazy as Kanye West might be you can't doubt the gifting that he has and the catchy tune he's made.
Catchy Song of the Week #4: "Glory" - Jaeson Ma ft. Caleb Lin
Coming Straight from the mouth of the lead voice of the 1040 Documentary. Jaeson Ma brings a new twist on what's truly important. What are you living for? Listen to the lyrics that's what will get you thinking. For me Hip Hop and the genre has always been about the lyrics first then the beat. In some cases Beat first. If the lyrics are powerful then the beat almost doesn't seem to matter.
With this song it has both a hype beat and some awe inspiring lyrics. The video is so simple and the simplicity makes it that much more great. The beginning comes off really slow with piano almost throwing you off.. is this Hip Hop song? It's the piano that lays the foundation of the whole piece so hang in there and the song comes. With a thumping bass beat, each pulse reverberates through your bones it's time to start living for greatness. The lyrics are not particularly focused towards Christians AKA followers of Christ. Which makes the songs focus perfectly for every listener. He reminds me of Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park. Well enjoy the song and listen to the lyrics.
Get ready to change the way you focus, change the way you think and change the way you live. Start living for a purpose bigger than yourself. Find the passion that will have you putting others before yourself, and living for something worth dying for.
Hey Friends Lets catch up and end the week with a really cool song.
This week we are putting daft punk in the center of our fiction universe with their new track for the Movie Tron Legacy. The guys who brought you such awesome tracks like "around the world" and "one more time", are now in charge of all the music for the upcoming Tron Legacy movie.
You have to watch the video with the music going. It just brings that extra bit of the fictional reality to life. First ou get a shot of what the new "Tron" version of daft punk will look like with the light suits. Like every good daft punk track it just starts with a pulsing beat and just takes off from there. I have never been much of an Electronica fan but Daft Punk always opens my eyes and mind to a new possibility of musical taste. As I am totally out of my element with this genre, I'm not going to even comment. All I can say is daft punk fans enjoy the ride and first timers you are going to love it.
Let this one loop in your head this week.
INCEPTION WORKS. Damn! I didn't even look at BY's post till now and this is my two cents on the CSOTW.
Following BY's Train of thought (haha get it). I found this appropriate to fit the bill. Now as we all anticipate the release of the Blu-ray and DVD for Inception, there's still tons of talk about the movie and... the trailer. That ominous fog horn that instantly sucks you into the world of "Inception". Who wrote it? Well ask no more here it is. Come relive how to make your life more epic and intense.TURN UP THAT BASS!!!
This is an amazing song. Bored need a pick up just listen here.
Love the song well support the artist Here. You can buy some music from there as well as listen to his other stuff.
I wish is was longer but that's the reason they invented REPEAT.
As for the composer I wish there was more info about him/her but nothing as of yet.
Pretty much this is it on Zack Hemsey.
Until the next CSOTW, keep your thoughts protected.
I know this is does not really have anything to do with comic books and fiction.. but this is a blog and it needs to be blogged. So for this feature, I will be featuring a catchy song (In my opinion) each week. Maybe this will get you to like new music. But these are songs that I have possibly discovered recently and want to share with our viewership.
First up in this inaugural CSOTW....
Shout Out Louds - The Comeback
This is actually a pretty old song but I only discovered this recently. This single was released in 2005.. so I am quite a bit behind... but try and tell me that you heard of this song before. So the Shout Out Louds are an indie rock band from Sweden, like the Hives... and that is as far as my Swedish music knowledge goes... unless you count any of the songs the Swedish Chef humms From the beginning riff, it gets me hooked... I guess that's why they call it a hook. It is what makes this song a catchy song. You then get your first glimpse of the Jason Schwartzman look-a-like lead singer. Is it the scruffiness? or the hair? or does he really look like Jason Schwartzman regardless of those things? Anyhoo... his vocals work for this song, surprisingly because it is pretty throaty. It must hurt doing that for concerts night in a night out. It sounds as if I tried to sing after being sick, or having a hangover, or after straining my voice after a long session of singing. BUT... it works well with the sound of this band. Gives it that indie vibe and a cleaner voice may be too clean for the roughness/distortion of this catchy tune. Then you catch of glimpse of franken-drummer. Something about him mesmerizes me. I think I'm drawn to his large bald head. At first, I thought he was just a character for the video... but he's actually the drummer of the band and he actually looks like that... eek. I thinks the combination of his big head, and big glasses that does it for me. He looks like one of those silent henchmen that never talk (obviously cuz he's a silent henchman) and only grunt (not so silent anymore). And it doesn't help that he uses those mallet sticks that add to his image of large henchman #1. MOOG!!!!!! gives this song that extra something which somehow rounds everything. I do love it. Do not get me started on analyzing the video.. cuz I have no idea why it is what it is, but all I figure is that the band is being interrogated .. or interviewed. That is all. Good song, sure to not offend and stick in your mind for at least a week. But that's good thing, cuz you'll susceptible to be inception'd with the next CSOTW!
