They said they would do it and they did. The First trailer for batman V Superman dawn of justice is here. We get our first looks at what the story will be and why the batman and superman world will be colliding. Let's hope the collision is epic and not like many of the other DC comics movies.
there new Bat armour and what looks like a new version of the Batplane. The story reminds me of the superman:Redson story arc. My last question...Do You Bleed?

All your doubts and questions have been answered. It is here, it is now, the newest Man of Steel Trailer. 

(0:00) Explosions galore
(0:08) What is that flying thing? Is Krypton somehow related to Pandora from Avatar?
(0:08) I wish I had Russell Crowe as my dad, only based on his voice. He seems supportive.. but what-a-sec, he's sending his only son off, maybe not a good idea.
(0:30) Did we just get through 30 seconds without dramatic singing lady ala Gladiator or the 2nd Man of Steel trailer?
(0:55) More of the same scenes from the last trailer
(1:13) Why would Superman need to hitchhike when he can run or fly anywhere he wants?
(1:25) Superman has a beard, which brings up the age-old question, how the heck does Superman shave? Wouldn't his hair be impenetrable by common steel since he is the Man of Steel?
(1:48) There are sure quite a lot of cool looking close-up scenes and angles, especially for short scenes in a trailer, but not sure how well that will translate on film.
(2:06) I'm sure mobs of people will be flocking to the theaters to watch the movie from the director of 64% rottentomato rated Watchmen... oh wait.. what's that?.. 300 got 60%..  I am now outraged because 300 was awesome. At least they played it smart and had no mention of Sucker Punch.
(2:07) Begin montage of quick cut moments which I will have to watch-pause-rewatch-pause-rewatch and still find out nothing about the movie
(2:12) First viewing of Michael Shannon as General Zod... looks evil enough... check

(2:48) Everything wrong with "Superman Returns" solved with one punch... heck yeah! (in reference to the lack of punches thrown in "Superman Returns". I'm pretty sure that just this trailer alone has more punches than the entirety of "Superman Returns. Yes I like to see punches.)

Superman Man of Steel HD Trailer 2

Here's the newly released Superman Man of Steel Trailer 2. We see a little bit of Zod the villain. But this is a much more serious Superman Movie. I'm hoping we get some more iconic superman scenes in the next trailer. This is a bit of a slow trailer so maybe they're going for story more then just pure action. We'll see in the coming months. For now enjoy the trailer in HD.

With Summer Movie Season long and done, most are looking forward to Christmas movie releases and even so far as in to next summers movie releases. We at the League are those types of people, bringing far of content into the present. Hopefully by now filming is done for the Man of Steel and post production is well under way. Slated for a summer 2013 release lets hope this will be an epic and accurate and well done movie.

MAN OF STEEL - SUPERMAN wallpaper and Movie Trailer

The much Searched for Superman: Man of Steel Trailer has officially been announced. This movie is looking like its going to have some real story and a real effort to make this movie right for all fans. If they do it well maybe the first lead in to the Justice League :)

This is the real deal its just a teaser though with not a whole lot of information being revealed. It's set for release June 14, 2013.

Absolute All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely, Jamie Grant

Absolute All-Star Superman... a great story and great art, what happens when Superman really disappears for good. The art by Frank Quitely is amazing managing to bring the different faces of emotion to life. His style is unique,  at times I feel like there's to many face lines but when you put all the panels together in a story it just flows. Grant Morrison great writing a master story teller as usual.

From the moment you open the book there's just so much colour and vibrance, the retro comic colouring the book really captures every era the Man of steel has lived through. Now what happens when Superman is truly about to die? That's what All-Star Superman is here for. The pages are thick and read great. There really is no better way to read comics then in the absolute.

I'm Sure you noticed with this absolute the I left the outside shrink wrap on. Why? Well I find with the plastic it keeps the book slipcase from getting scratched or worn out from staying on the bookshelf. Solves the issues of the bald patches on the slipcase. Tip to open it is at the end.

All angles of the All-Star Superman Hardcover. A closer look will show you that there's a retro comic style to the art. I'm guessing an homage to the beginning of Superman to the the end of him.

Interior content is amazing with lots of bonus art extras. A collection of all the covers as well as unreleased secret covers.

What a way to make an ending. You'll have to read it to find out, great story. The last will and testament of Superman, that's what the book reads like. It's pretty epic.

This gets a 5 out of 5 for presentation and story.

Random: How to Take care of your Absolute Editions.
The trick to opening an absolute is to be careful (obvious isn't it?) you want to make an "I" shape on the spine where the book will slide out. First with a knife cut the top (short side) where the book and the slipcase meet. Do that on the top and bottom. Next lift the plastic at the spot where you just cut. With your knife gently cut across the center of the spine. Your cuts will make a "I" shape. Once finished cutting slide the absolute out tuck the 2 flaps into the opening and then slide the hardcover absolute back in. That's it and now the absolute will stay clean and new for it's whole life.
