Boba Fett Helmet Star Wars Master Replicas .45 Scale

Star Wars Master Replicas Helmet .45 Scale.
One of my favorites is the Boba Fett helmet. All the attention to battle damage and giving it the proper worn out look is amazing. This is a high ranking collectible for any bounty hunter fan, or Star Wars helmet collector. With a matching stand this is something you'll have everyone fearing and gawking.

To start this is the only helmet in the collection with a moving part. At a .45 scale they managed to add this in too. The antenna on Boba Fett's head isn't actually an antenna. Turns out it really is a reticle that turns down to line up with his eye (probably to shot and capture the more difficult types of bounty in the galaxy). Also you'll notice that the visor is transparent plastic which gives it another life like quality. Even the depression on the top of the helmet is added. We can not get enough of these MR helmets, Shame they went out of business after loosing the Star Wars License. They have so far produced the best quality collectibles at a price well worth what you pay.

Absolute All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely, Jamie Grant

Absolute All-Star Superman... a great story and great art, what happens when Superman really disappears for good. The art by Frank Quitely is amazing managing to bring the different faces of emotion to life. His style is unique,  at times I feel like there's to many face lines but when you put all the panels together in a story it just flows. Grant Morrison great writing a master story teller as usual.

From the moment you open the book there's just so much colour and vibrance, the retro comic colouring the book really captures every era the Man of steel has lived through. Now what happens when Superman is truly about to die? That's what All-Star Superman is here for. The pages are thick and read great. There really is no better way to read comics then in the absolute.

I'm Sure you noticed with this absolute the I left the outside shrink wrap on. Why? Well I find with the plastic it keeps the book slipcase from getting scratched or worn out from staying on the bookshelf. Solves the issues of the bald patches on the slipcase. Tip to open it is at the end.

Left to Right: Front (can you see the secret superman logo? No joke it really is on the front of it) and Back of All-Star Superman absolute edition dust jacket by Frank Quitely

All angles of the All-Star Superman Hardcover. A closer look will show you that there's a retro comic style to the art. I'm guessing an homage to the beginning of Superman to the the end of him.

Interior content is amazing with lots of bonus art extras. A collection of all the covers as well as unreleased secret covers.

Neil Adams Variant Cover All-Star Superman #1, All 12 covers from All-Star Superman Issue

What a way to make an ending. You'll have to read it to find out, great story. The last will and testament of Superman, that's what the book reads like. It's pretty epic.

This gets a 5 out of 5 for presentation and story.

Random: How to Take care of your Absolute Editions.
The trick to opening an absolute is to be careful (obvious isn't it?) you want to make an "I" shape on the spine where the book will slide out. First with a knife cut the top (short side) where the book and the slipcase meet. Do that on the top and bottom. Next lift the plastic at the spot where you just cut. With your knife gently cut across the center of the spine. Your cuts will make a "I" shape. Once finished cutting slide the absolute out tuck the 2 flaps into the opening and then slide the hardcover absolute back in. That's it and now the absolute will stay clean and new for it's whole life.

Cowboys & Aliens HD Trailer 2 Release More aliens and More Olivia Wilde

The second Cowboys & Aliens trailer just got released. The concept is pretty much a childhood favorite come to life. Now I don't know how its all going to pull together, seeing the horses riding up to the giant flying alien spaceships hardly seems like a fair fight (even with Daniel Craig's super wrist gun). I'm guessing the space ships are the aliens. I'm still on the fence with this one but Olivia Wilde is in it so I'm leaning a little more in to it especially at 2:09 of the trailer. Well Enjoy.

Star Wars Stormtrooper Helmet .45 scaled Master Replicas

Another Helmet from the collection. Master Replicas Stormtrooper scaled helmet. They don't make these anymore, so we thought it best to get these out for all to see. This is a rare set of scaled replica that I added to the collection. Normally I wouldn't but the detail just makes this such a keeper.

Pictures of the interior of the helmet. This is what makes it a keeper.

Another 5 out of 5 in the scaled helmet division

Green lantern 2011 Movie footage Wonder con

Secret Wonder con footage of the up coming green lantern movie. Wondering what the movie will look like? All that space? All the aliens? WAH everything looks awesome. Yah agreed there's some interpretations of the lantern and the costume, but that's not the point. Visually looks awesome. Story well we'll see but I think Reynolds will do a good job. He did nail the oath at the San Diego Comic-con when asked at a live Q&A. Credit goes to him for getting right into the character.
Enjoy the next 4 minutes, it's going to be pretty glorious and awesome.
